Made-in-India Honda CB350 Classic Hits European Roads as 'GB350S'

Send Push

In a proud milestone for Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), the CB350—renowned for its laidback, classic style—has made its debut in Europe under the name Honda GB350S. Unveiled at EICMA 2024 as part of the brand’s MY2025 lineup, the GB350S brings India’s manufacturing prowess to European shores, marking the first time the CB350 series has gone on sale in the continent.

The Iconic Classic with a European Twist

Manufactured in India and already a hit in markets like Japan and Australia, the GB350S enters Europe as a competitor in the A2 license category, where it squares off against rivals like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Benelli Imperiale 400. Staying true to its roots, the Euro-spec Honda GB350S maintains the iconic look of its Indian sibling, featuring classic design elements like fork gaiters, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, ribbed seating, and a sleek black exhaust. However, European riders will enjoy a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cast aluminum wheel setup, fitted with Metzeler Tourance Next tyres for enhanced road grip.

Specifications: Power Meets Classic Aesthetic

Powering the GB350S is a 348cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 20.7 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 29 Nm of peak torque at 3,000 rpm. The engine pairs with a 5-speed gearbox that ensures smooth cruising on open roads. Its suspension setup consists of telescopic forks in the front and twin shocks at the rear, while disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS provide reliable braking. At 800 mm seat height and weighing in at 178 kg, the GB350S offers comfort and stability, a perfect fit for Europe’s diverse road conditions.

Modern Classic Features and Elegant New Colors

The GB350S includes all-LED lighting, a classic analog instrument cluster with a digital display, a USB charging port, and various accessories tailored for the European market. Adding to its allure are three stylish color options: Pearl Deep Mud Gray, Gunmetal Black Metallic, and Puco Blue—colors unique to the European variant and distinct from those available in India. The Puco Blue, in particular, has sparked interest, and there’s already talk of bringing it to India.

Enhanced Style and Travel with Exclusive Accessories

In Europe, Honda is offering two exclusive accessory packs for the GB350S: Style and Travel. The Style Pack adds a single-seat cowl, headlight cowl in Matte Axis Gray Metallic, grip ends, side tank pads, engine upper pipes, and fog lights. Meanwhile, the Travel Pack offers practical additions such as saddle bags, knuckle guards, and a long visor, designed to enhance both aesthetics and utility.

Pricing and Global Reach

The Honda GB350S is priced at 3,949 Euros (approximately ₹3.59 lakh) in Europe, while in India, the CB350 starts from ₹2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Honda India plant plays a vital role in global distribution, exporting to over 64 countries, and with the GB350S now in Europe, Honda is likely to expand the model’s reach to more markets.

With the GB350S, Honda has made a powerful statement, not only in celebrating the craftsmanship of India but also in catering to the growing global demand for classic-styled motorcycles with modern performance. For fans of the classic motorcycle, the GB350S brings together style, performance, and heritage, now ready to conquer roads beyond India.
