Trains Running at Full Capacity: Additional Coaches for Festive Season

Udaipur : To accommodate the increased travel demand during the festive season, nine additional coaches have been added to five trains running to and from Udaipur. This facility will be available from Navratri to Diwali. Trains are already experiencing long waiting lists, and confirmed tickets are difficult to obtain.

• Udaipur-Jaipur Intercity: Three additional second-class general coaches will be added from October 1st to 31st.
• Udaipur City-Khajuraho Express: One additional second-class general coach will be added from Udaipur on October 1st to 31st, and from Khajuraho on October 3rd to November 2nd.
• Jaipur-Udaipur Holiday Special: One additional second-class general coach will be added from Jaipur on October 1st to 31st, and from Udaipur on October 2nd to November 1st.
• Udaipur-Asarva: One additional second-class general coach will be added from Udaipur on October 1st to 31st, and from Asarva on October 2nd to November 1st.
• Chetak Express: One additional second AC, one second sleeper, and one third AC coach will be added from Delhi Sarai on October 1st to 31st, and from Udaipur on October 2nd to November 1st.

Two trains to Vaishno Devi, additional stops added : A special train from Udaipur to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will start from October 2nd. The train will have additional stops at Pathankot Cantt in Punjab and Shaheed Tushaar Mahajan station in Jammu. Now, the train will have a total of 26 stops. The train will depart from Udaipur at 1:50 AM on every Tuesday and Wednesday night and will reach Katra at 5:50 AM on Thursday. From Katra, it will depart at 10:50 AM on Thursday and reach Udaipur at 1:55 PM on Friday. This train will operate until November 13th.
