BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks makes huge emotional admissions as he ditches UK

Pete Wicks paid tribute to one of his best friends who he said had "always been there" for him when he took a break from to support them.

Training for Strictly Come Dancing is known to be incredibly intense. The celebrity contestants are contracted to put in 12 hours a week but lots of them to perfect their weekly performances. Obviously there are occasions when life takes over and previous commitments or engagements can’t be cancelled. , who has said that training for Strictly is harder than the gruelling winter warfare tasks he took part in for Celebrity SAS, was allowed to take a break from preparing for his second dance with professional partner and leave the UK for a very important event.

Former TOWIE legend Pete, 36, jetted off to Puglia, Italy for 24 hours only for the nuptials of his dear friend, fellow reality star Vicky Pattison. She was marrying partner Ercan Ramadan for the second time after they initially tied the knot in Marylebone, London, in front of their friends and family.

Vicky had given him the honour of being her flower girl at the sumptuous wedding and he shared a beautiful black and white image of himself and the bride on the big day. The picture showed a very dapper Pete with his arm around Vicky, who was wearing her stunning lace and chiffon bridal gown.

The pals were obviously sharing a joke as both were seen in high spirits, with Vicky holding her hand in front of her mouth to stifle her laughs. Behind them was the beautiful wedding setting adorned with candles and fairy lights. Alongside the snap Pete wrote a moving tribute to his friend on her special day and said: "Couldn't be more proud of you... @vickypattison. For 10 years you have been one of my best friends and biggest supporters. I am so blessed and lucky to call you a friend.

"You are a wonderful person and have always been there for me, my life is better with you in it. This is your day and you deserve it more than anyone. Congratulations." Vicky responded to his post with her own touching message, writing in the comments: "I have never been more grateful for you... I know now hard you're working with @jowitaprzystal - Can't believe you sacrificed a couple hours for me. Love you."

Although the bride made no mention of it in her comment, fans of Pete were quick to point out that he may have made a huge blunder by posting the picture because at that point she hadn’t shared her dress publicly. One wrote: "Eeeeeek possibly going to get into trouble for this. You're showing the first photo...I mean, thank you, we're all waiting for it BUT the bride might be miffed."

Another said: "Did you post before she did...". A third commented: "Stunning but id take this down, she’s not shown her dress yet publicly on her page." Someone else agreed saying: "Peteeeeee have you just posted her dress before her. She might want you to delete this bubs x."
