Jackmaster's heartbreaking last pictures with his family were shared just weeks before his death.

. His family announced that he had suffered "complications arising from an accidental head injury." Details about his accident have not been shared publicly but the devastated family confirmed he died on October 12.

Just weeks before the Scotts star died, he shared a string of snaps on his social media after spending time with his family. In view of his 91,600 followers, the musician could be seen smiling with his loved ones after spending quality time in which he explained had a positive impact on him as his "soul was content."

In one image, Jack was seen with two children and a female as they posed outside a stunning castle. He planted a kiss on the females face while she beamed from ear-to-ear as the two children appeared to be overjoyed. Meanwhile, another image showed Jack dressed in historic clothing as he posed with a fake baguette in his hand while standing in the kitchen of the stunning castle.

Another image shared showed a heart nailed into a large tree stump with the message: "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear." Captioning his upload, Jack penned: "Such a wicked weekend spending it all with my family, some museums / Scottish landmarks and then going to visit Loch Lomond where my mums ashes were laid. Then we topped it off finally with a SEEEEERIOUS BBQ. My soul is content and then some."

Jack's family took to his on Saturday night to share the shattering news of his death. Alongside an image of the musician, they said: "It is with profound sorrow that we confirm the untimely passing of Jack Revill, known to many as Jackmaster. Jack tragically died in Ibiza on the morning of 12th October, following complications arising from an accidental head injury.

"His family—Kate, Sean, and Johnny — are utterly heartbroken. While deeply touched by the overwhelming support from friends, colleagues, and fans, the family kindly requests privacy as they navigate the immense grief of this devastating loss. Jack's passion for music and his relentless drive to push creative boundaries through his work at the Numbers label and Rubadub Records in Glasgow, including discovering countless innovative artists, made him a beloved and pioneering figure in the electronic music community both in front of and behind the scenes.

"His talent for blending genres and delivering electrifying DJs sets and productions earned him the respect and admiration of peers and fans across the globe. His legacy will continue to inspire, and his impact on the of dance music will remain indelible."

Tributes poured in from friends, celebrities, fellow musicians and his fans. Diplo commented: "You're gonna live forever." Annie Mac added: "Devastating news. Sending every ounce of love to Jacks family and loved ones…." Taking to her own Instagram, Annie added: "Devastated to hear of the tragic death of Jack Revill aka @jackmaster. He was hands down one of the best DJs in the U.K; fearless and forward thinking, committed to the job at hand." She added: "He was so charismatic, so fun, so sound, one of those guys who lit up a room. I always loved to see and speak to him. He was only thirty eight. I can't believe he's gone. Sending all my love and thoughts to his family and his loved ones."

Musician and DJ Jamie Bryan took to Instagram and penned: "Heartbreaking man, RIP," accompanied by a devastated face emoji. Tony Allen, the founder of Undrtone Agency added: "Can't believe it. RIP mate," alongside a broken heart emoji. Another penned on X: "Jack was always making me laugh and smile. I'm honored to have known him. RIP."
