We all enjoy sharing a laugh and a joke with our coworkers – it makes the workday go by faster.

But sometimes, things can go a little too far, leading to some playful payback. Macy Newberry, who works at her local , found this out in the most amusing way.

In a video that's racked up more than 7,000 likes, Macy admitted she’d been bothering one of her colleagues all morning. By the time her lunch break rolled around, the chef had decided he’d had enough.

She humorously declared "Wetherspoons chefs gone feral" as she revealed his light-hearted revenge. "Nightmares do exist when you annoy the chef at work," she joked.

Macy filmed her lunch, which had been transformed into a quirky structure. The chef had gotten creative, using skewers to build a tower out of onion rings and arranging her chips into a tent-like shape.

"I can't even remember what I did to deserve this," Macy added, "But the chef was clearly upset. This was the result – my lunch, completely sabotaged. Artistic, yes. But you'd probably be annoyed if it happened to your meal too!"

TikTok users were left in stitches over the clip – with many claiming they'd just be glad they could still eat it. One user said: "As long as it's still edible, I wouldn't be annoyed."

Another commented: "That's quite creative," while a third joked: "Omg I'd pay more for this modern art." Someone else, who has been through the same thing, penned: "The chefs at Nandos would make me sculptures out of my on break."

It comes after a couple, who hit their goal of Phil, 77, and Julie Fox, 74, from Halifax, West Yorkshire, set themselves this boozy challenge over 15 years ago, aiming to visit all 809 of the chain's pubs. Their latest conquest was The William Adams in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, marking the halfway point in their epic pub crawl.
