Singer Liam Payne has sparked excitement among One Direction fans after hinting at a potential catch-up with former bandmate Niall Horan.
The 31 year old pop star shared his plans in a Snapchat video, revealing that he's jetting off to Argentina where Niall is currently on tour. His partner Kate Cassidy could be heard in the background of the recent video, as reported by OK! magazine.
In the video, Liam disclosed his three reasons for the trip, with one relating to Niall. "We're going to Argentina to see Nialler," he captioned the footage. Cosied up in bed, he elaborated: "We're going to Argentina. One, because we have to, and two, because we want to, and three, because Niall Horan's playing down there and I think we might just go and say 'hello'."
Liam then confessed it's been some time since he last spoke with Niall, adding: "It's been a while since me and Niall have spoken. We've got a lot to talk about and I would like to square up a couple things with the boy. No bad vibes or nothing like that, but just, we need to talk."

The possible reunion was met with excitement on social media following Liam's video. Fans headed onto X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their hopes, with the outlet sharing some examples. "What do you mean Niall and Liam are in Argentina? They should organise a 1D reunion," one fan posted eagerly.
Another couldn't contain their emotions, exclaiming: "LIAM IS GOING TO ARGENTINA TO SEE NIALL OMG IM CRYING." "Liam is going to see Niall in Argentina. First Narry and now Niam on tour. It always warms my heart when the boys support each other," one fan gushed. Another chimed in, "Liam will be at Niall's show tomorrow!! NIIIAAAAMMMM REUNION".
Since their formation on the X Factor in 2010, One Direction, - which included Liam, Niall, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik - have topped the UK singles charts four times and reportedly sold 70 million singles globally. In 2016 though, the group decided to take an indefinite break.
Before the group's hiatus, Zayn made headlines by leaving the band in March 2015. "After five incredible years Zayn Malik has decided to leave One Direction. Niall, Harry, Liam and Louis will continue as a four-piece and look forward to the forthcoming concerts of their world tour and recording their fifth album, due to be released later this year," a statement confirmed at that time.
