Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has admitted something about the first ever scene he and Daniel Radcliffe filmed together.

In an old interview that is currently circulating TikTok, the star confessed that in the first scene where Harry and Ron meet, the pair didn't actually film together. Rupert said: "There's a scene, we're in on the way to Hogwarts in a train, we're in the compartment eating sweets.

"We were never actually really in the same compartment when we did that."

The two had to film the same scene separately in order to get them to act properly. Rupert added: "We had to film each other's close ups separately because we couldn't look each other in the eye and keep a straight face."

Rupert would have only been 12 and Daniel 11 when shooting the first film. During the scene, Ron introduces himself before Harry does and quickly works out that Harry is "The Boy Who Lived".

They're then introduced to Hermione who comes to the carriage asking if they've seen Neville Longbottom's toad. This isn't the first time a Harry Potter actor has given away something from the days they were filming the movies.

An interview with not so long ago as well. Fiona played Petunia Dursley, Harry's evil aunt.

In the first film, hundreds of owls land on Privet Drive in an attempt to give Harry his Hogwarts invitation letter.

In one scene, Mrs Dursley finds herself being stared at by several owls but in order to get them to look at her, she explained she had to pin mice to her apron.
