Recently, Citroen Basalt has received a four star rating in the crash test. However, today we are telling you about five cars that people like despite poor ratings in terms of safety.

1. Mahindra Bolero Neo

Mahindra's Bolero Neo SUV is sold in the Indian market at a price of around Rs 10 lakh. Recently, it got a very poor safety rating in the crash test conducted by Global NCAP. This SUV got only one star each for adult and child safety. Despite this, this car is quite popular among Indian customers.

2. Honda Amaze

Japanese manufacturer Honda's compact sedan Amaze has also lagged behind in safety ratings. This vehicle was crash tested in 2024, in which it got two stars in adult safety. At the same time, it did not get even one star for child safety. Customers hope that the company will improve safety in its facelift version.

3. Citroen EC3

Citroen's electric hatchback eC3 has also received poor safety ratings. In the crash test conducted by Global NCAP, it got zero stars for adult safety and one star for child safety. Despite this, some other Citroen vehicles, such as Basalt, have performed better.

4. Maruti Alto K10

Maruti's cheapest car, the Alto K10, is also weak in terms of safety. In the Global NCAP test, this car got two stars for adult safety and zero stars for child safety. Despite the low price of the Alto K10, its safety rating has worried customers.

5. Maruti Wagon R

Wagon R has been sold in the Indian market for a long time. It also got a very poor safety rating in the crash test conducted in 2023. In the Global NCAP test, this car got one star for adult safety and zero star for child safety. Still, this car is quite popular among Indian customers. Even though the safety rating of these vehicles is poor, they still remain popular in the Indian market. It is important for customers to pay attention to the safety rating before buying a car. Vehicle manufacturers should give priority to safety so that customers can choose safe and reliable vehicles.
