Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift have forged a sweet friendship over the years after the actress 'fangirled' over the Eras Tour star.

From to , the besties are regularly spotted having a good time together. But their relationship has also offered the stars much-needed support.

What is clear is that Sophie has been a fan of Taylor's music for an incredibly long time, meaning that's probably the best place to start the stars' friendship timeline.

Sophie's been a Swiftie for years

Sophie's been a fan since before she met Taylor. Back in 2018, the actor went viral with her rendition of the singer's hit '22', which Sophie performed for her 22nd birthday. A year later, she met Taylor on The Graham Norton Show.

During the hilarious episode, Taylor complimented Sophie's fringe having noticed they'd both opted for similar hairstyles, and Taylor later shared her delight at meeting Sophie along with the Dark Phoenix cast in a post on following her appearance.

Later, Sophie toldshe was seriously fangirling. In the 2019 clip, Sophie shared: "She's a really sweet girl. We’ve met a couple of times before. We’re friends. She definitely wasn’t fangirling over me. I fangirl over her."

Sophie has often supported Taylor's music

Sophie hasn't been shy about her fangirling. When Taylor released her vault song 'Mr. Perfectly Fine' reportedly inspired by Sophie's then-husband Joe Jonas she had a Sharing the song on her Instagram, Sophie praised: "It's not NOT a bop."
