A woman was left in stitches after spotting a Thai restaurant with a hilarious name — leaving many people desperate to give it a try.

Ema, who posts online as @emaonthemove, is known for documenting her travels and her new life in Sweden on her social media accounts. But recently, the 29-year-old attracted millions of views with a clip of her new local takeaway — "Thai Tanic".

The pun is a reference to The Titanic, a British luxury ship that sank in 1912 after hitting an iceberg on its maiden voyage. The disaster resulted in over 1,500 deaths and inspired the 1997 movie starring Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet.

In the video, which has gained more than 39,000 likes, the lass filmed the hilarious storefront of the takeaway in Gothenburg, Sweden with the backing track of a flute version of My Heart Will Go On from the movie. She dubbed it "the best restaurant name" she'd seen so far, before adding in the caption: "I don't know if their Thai food is good, but 10/10 for originality."

TikTok users were left in stitches over the hilarious business name as they took to the comments to poke fun at it. One user quipped: "It's good. They have Iceberg lettuce in!"

Another commented: "That's a good one," while a third wrote: "That is genius." Someone else added: "Proud to say we have one in Belfast to." Others took to the comments wanting to give the place a try purely because of its name.

Opening a business means choosing a snappy name for it — but the Kuntry Inn Motel is perhaps unwise. Meanwhile, an eatery with name of Poo Restaurant doesn't exactly get the taste buds salivating.

But these hilarious names are just a flavour of what are being called the 'world's most awkward business names' which have been revealed online in these pictures which have been shared far and wide. The Mirror has compiled a collection of some of the most awkward business names.
