Haryana Assembly Election Results Today: Key Contestants and Constituencies
One of the closely watched constituencies in Haryana is Uchana Kalan, located in Jind district. In the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections, Uchana Kalan recorded a voter turnout of 75.44%. Key candidates contesting from this seat include Devender Attri of the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) and Brijendra Singh from the Indian National Congress ( INC), alongside several independent candidates.

Dushyant Chautala of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) currently holds the seat. In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, he defeated Prem Lata of the BJP by a margin of 47,452 votes. Chautala secured 92,504 votes, while Prem Lata received 45,052 votes. Chautala is contesting for a second consecutive term in 2024, but faces challenges from a potentially shifting Jat vote bank, particularly following the JJP's stance during the farmers' protests against the now-repealed farm laws.

This constituency also falls under the Hisar Lok Sabha seat. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the INC’s Jai Prakash won the Hisar seat, defeating the BJP’s Ranjit Chautala by a margin of 63,381 votes. The Uchana Kalan constituency is part of the Hisar Lok Sabha seat and has seen its fortunes fluctuate over the years. In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, BJP's Brijendra Singh won the Hisar seat, defeating JJP's Dushyant Chautala.
