After the Justice Hema Committee report came out, many actresses came forward and expressed their views openly. Actress Meenu Munir has also now revealed that Balachandra Menon called her to his room in the year 2007 and forced her to watch group sex videos.

'Forcibly taken to room and shown group sex'

Speaking to India Today, Meenu Munir said that Menon had forcibly shown her group sex in his room in 2007. She said, "There were some other people sitting there who were watching all this. There were three girls and he himself was involved in it. I came out of that room. He asked me to sit there and watch all this." Talking about the action being taken on her previous complaints, she said, "I am very satisfied with the investigation. It is not easy to arrest an MLA of such stature."

Hema Committee report was described as purification of society

Meenu said that she felt this way when the report was published. When the Chief Minister said that he will file a case on the complaints, then I felt that I should speak about it. Talking about her journey, Munir told how she got disillusioned with the industry. The actress said, "I had many dreams, but this industry turned out to be a nightmare for me. This (Hema Committee report) is not only purifying the industry, but also our society." Meenu also responded to the allegations against her.

Phone calls come to make a compromise

The actress has been booked under POCSO by her cousin, about which she said, "She is taking revenge on me because I did not help her get offers. How can I help her when I know how the industry is. My opponents are behind all this. This is a battle that I have to deal with myself." Munir also revealed that she has received many calls to settle the matter through talks and compromise, in which she has also been offered money. The actress said, "Now I do not pick up such calls from unknown numbers."
