Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu is slated to undertake a two-day visit to Odisha from October 23.
Sources said the President is scheduled to arrive in Odisha on October 23 and visit Puri the next day to attend the 75th anniversary of Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya as the chief guest.
According to her itinerary, Murmu will attend the programme at Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya in Puri between 12.10 pm to 1.00 pm on October 24.
Notably, the President had had undertaken a four-day visit to Odisha in July. She ha graced the 96th Death Anniversary of Utkalamani Pandit Gopabandhu Das at Bhubaneswar on July 6. Later, she witnessed the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and siblings in Puri on July 7.
On July 8, the President visited Udayagiri Caves and interacted with the students of Bibhuti Kanungo College of Art and Crafts and Utkal University of Culture. On the same day, she inaugurated the Divine Retreat Centre of Brahma Kumaris at Haridamada village near Bhubaneswar and launched the ‘Lifestyle for Sustainability’ campaign.
The President graced the 13th Graduation Ceremony of the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) at Bhubaneswar on July 9 before leaving for Delhi.
