Kamala Harris ' husband Douglas Emhoff has been called the greenest flag as he's played the role of the supportive husband as Kamala fights for the top job. At the Democratic National Convention where Kamala Harris officially accepted the nomination as the party's presidential candidate, Doug gave a heartwarming speech calling Kama a warrior, a joyful warrior who has been there for the children and will be there for America's children too. He told his love story, how he was set up on a blind date with Kamala Harris and how he left a voicemail to her at 8.30 am etc.
In his recent interview with MSNBC, he was told that he unwittingly reshaped the perception masculinity. He was asked whether his role as a supportive spouse saw an evolution and whether he plans to play this role as the First Gentleman if Kamala Harris wins the election. "It's funny. I have started to think a lot about it. I have always been like this. My dad was like this. He was called the 'wife guy' in the interview to which Doug reacted warmly and said he will show it to Kamala whenever she's upset by him.
MAGA supporters attacked Doug and and reminded that he cheated on his first wife Kerstin Emhoff and made his children's nanny pregnant. Doug earlier admitted to have cheated on his first wife but now Kerstin Emhoff is also a part of the 'modern family' as Doug, Kerstin, Kamala shared the parenthood of Ella and Cole.
