Send Push

Redmi, which recently launched the Redmi Pad SE, Redmi Pad SE 4G, and Redmi Pad Pro with 5G and Wi-Fi in India, is now rumored to be working on a gaming tablet. While official details are yet to be announced, a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station (DCS), has shared some early information about the device.

Redmi in Development

According to DCS on Weibo, Redmi’s gaming tablet is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series chipset, offering performance that surpasses the Redmi Pad Pro and other large tablets. This would position the device as a powerful gaming option in the tablet market.

Although the tipster did not reveal much more about the gaming tablet, it is speculated that this could be the same compact flagship tablet with an LCD screen that was previously hinted at by DCS. However, this has not been confirmed yet.

Possible Chipset

While the specific chipset is still under wraps, it is speculated that the tablet might come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, known for its gaming capabilities. This chipset also powers popular devices like the iQOO Neo 9s Pro+ and Realme GT 6, making it a strong candidate for the upcoming gaming tablet. However, this information is speculative and should be taken with caution.

Potential Specifications

Though detailed specs have not been revealed, the Redmi gaming tablet might offer features similar to other gaming-focused tablets, such as the recently launched Red Magic Nova tablet, which comes with:

  • 10.9-inch 144Hz display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version SoC
  • 50MP rear camera
  • 20MP selfie camera
  • 10,100mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging

More details about the Redmi gaming tablet are expected to surface soon, so stay tuned for further updates.
