Leopard Kills Priest in Udaipur, Death Toll Rises to 7

Udaipur: A leopard has claimed its seventh victim in Udaipur, this time attacking and killing a temple priest. The priest’s body was found 150 meters away from the temple in a forest area, with his hand missing and parts of his neck and chest devoured.

The incident occurred in Rathaudon ka Guda village under Madar Panchayat in Badgaon. Vishnu Giri (65), the priest of the Hanuman temple, was found dead on Monday morning. Villagers discovered a trail of blood near the temple’s water tank and launched a search. The priest’s body was eventually found in the nearby forest, bearing the horrific marks of the leopard’s attack.

Upon receiving the information, the police and forest department teams rushed to the spot. The forest department has initiated a search operation to locate the leopard.
