India has defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the Kanpur Test. With this victory, Team India has completed a clean sweep of the series 2-0.

On Tuesday, the final day of the rain-affected match, India was set a target of 95 runs, which the Indian batters chased down in 17.2 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a fifty with 51 runs, while Kohli remained unbeaten on 29. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant hit a boundary to seal the victory for the team.

Before lunch, India bowled out Bangladesh for 146 runs in their second innings. The Bangladesh team had resumed on 26/2. On Monday, India had declared their first innings at 285/9 in 34.4 overs. Team India had bowled out Bangladesh’s first innings for 233 runs. The third and second days’ play was washed out due to rain, while only 35 overs could be bowled on the first day. As a result, the match was expected to end in a draw, but the Indian team turned the tables completely in the last two days.
