Three-Day Drama Festival Concludes at Shilpgram

Udaipur : The three-day drama festival organized by the Western Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, concluded on Sunday with the performance of the play “Triyatra” at the Darpan Sabhagar of Shilpgram.

Furqan Khan, Director of the Western Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, informed that on the final day of the three-day drama festival, on Sunday, the play “Triyatra”, directed by Gagan Mishra and Smt. Pridyadarshini Mishra, was staged at the Darpan Sabhagar of Shilpgram. This play is a collage of three stories, different from traditional plays, featuring three stories by three writers from different countries: “Barber Shop” by O. Henry from America, “The Beginning of the End” by India’s Gagan Mishra, and “Her Lover” by Russia’s Maxim Gorky. An attempt has been made to weave these three different stories into a single thread. A very beautiful and natural portrayal of human nature and emotions was seen in all three stories. The audience appreciated the play and the acting of its characters. At the end, all the artists were honored.

The program was conducted by Durgesh Chandwani, Assistant Director (Finance & Accounts) of the Center. Officers and employees of the Center were present on the occasion.
