iQOO 13 tipped to feature new heat dissipation system, 100W fast charging support, and more

The brand is reportedly planning to unveil as the next flagship smartphone. There is no official date given for iQOO 13 but a number of leaks and reports suggest an announcement in the near future. More details regarding the soon-to-be-announced iQOO device have been confirmed through newer leaks. On the surface, the new heat dissipation system of the iQOO 13 should turn out the same in size as the one in the iQOO 12. Additionally, the fast charging of 100W is also confirmed on the phone.

iQOO 13 key details leak before launch
  • iQOO 13 will likely to sport a new cooling system with novel VC cooling system. Furthermore, the smartphone will reportedly sport a single-layer motherboard.
  • We can know how much better iQOO 13 is going to do at heat dissipation for heavy usage like gaming as soon as the information are available.
  • The iQOO 13 is likely to be less than 8.1mm thick, making it nearly identical to the predecessor, the iQOO 12. Its durability will also be greatly enhanced since the iQOO 13 features IP68 dust and water resistance, where the iQOO 12 offers IP64.
  • The same leak further reveals that the iQOO 13 would boast of an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, USB 3.0, and 100W PPS fast charging support. PPS refers to a fast charging technology that adjusts the voltage and current in real-time to optimize charging for the device.
  • Display Panel : The same leak further reveals that the iQOO 13 would boast of a display panel that is better than BOE X2, the new display panel expected on the OnePlus 13.

The launch of iQOO 13 is likely to be around the corner as the smartphone was already seen on China’s 3C certification site and IMEI database, more recently. Besides, the smartphone has been seen on European EEC and SGS platforms for certification, hinting at an imminent release in the international markets. The iQOO 13 will make its way first in China followed by that to the global markets, including India.

The iQOO 13 will replace the iQOO 12, which was launched in India last December. So, the new model is also expected to arrive around the same time. As for the chipset, the iQOO 13 should also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
