Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Announces Recruitment for Over 5,000 Constable Posts, Deadline Extended to October 1

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released a recruitment notification for more than 5,000 constable posts. The initial deadline for submitting applications was September 24, but it has now been extended to October 1. Interested candidates can apply through the official website hssc.gov.in.

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must have passed the 12th grade.
• They should have studied either Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in the 10th grade.

Age Limit:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 25 years as of September 1, 2024.
• Age relaxation will be provided for reserved categories in accordance with the state government’s rules.
• Candidates from EWS, SC, and backward classes will receive a relaxation of up to five years in the maximum age limit.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted for the physical test based on their CET scores.

They will then be called for the Common Eligibility Test (Knowledge Test).

Document verification will be conducted.

The physical test must also be passed.

Salary:

• Depending on the position, the salary ranges from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month.
