iQOO 13 spotted on 3C, MIIT certification sites ahead of official launch; charging details revealed

The iQOO 13 is likely to appear in China soon and was recently tipped for the December launch in India. Though some more leaks and rumors are still floating in the cyberspace about the new iQOO 13, it has popped up on the 3C and MIIT certification sites. Interestingly, its appearance on those certification sites gives away a few of the major things.

iQOO 13 3C Certification Website Details

The iQOO 13 has been spotted on the 3C certification site with the model number V2408A. This goes to suggest that the flagship phone might have 100W wired fast-charging capabilities. This is a down grade since last year’s 1QOO 12 reportedly came with support for 120W wired fast charging.

iQOO 13 MIIT certification details

There is a new iQOO 13 on the MIIT certification website with the same model code. That would mean that the phone likely supports dual SIM and 5G, probably running Android 14. However, certification sites usually don’t mention the name of the phone.

iQOO 13: What to Expect

• Display: The new iQOO 13 will supposedly sport a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This time, though, it will use a BOE-made panel instead of the Samsung panel, just like its predecessor.
• Processor: The flagship version of iQOO phone will equip the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. That puts the iQOO 13 as another upgrade over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC to be found inside the iQOO 12.
• RAM, storage: Just like the predecessor, the new smartphone will feature as high as 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
• Cameras: The iQOO 12 Pro is likely going to sport a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera instead of the 50MP Omnivision OV50H on the iQOO 12. This one will have the same 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens as the iQOO 12 and a 50MP Sony IMX826 telephoto lens with 2x zoom compared to the 64MP 3x OmniVision sensor on the iQOO 12.
• Listing for iQOO 13 on 3C The listing for iQOO 13 on 3C indicates that it could carry this new 3 model with a 100W fast charging support. It is said to pack an upgraded 6,150mAh battery. That comes compared to the 5,000mAh used in the case of its predecessor, iQOO 12.
