The Redmi Note 14 Pro series was recently launched in China with two models: the vanilla version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. It now seems that the Xiaomi sub-brand is getting ready to unveil the phone in global markets. Redmi has so far not released any statements announcing the company’s intent to launch the Redmi Note 14 series internationally. However, it has apparently spotted a reference in the HyperOS code, which may include camera specifications and codenames for the global variants of the Redmi Note 14 series, suggesting that global models might receive better camera capabilities compared to the Chinese ones.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Series Reference Spotted on Mi Code: Report

XiaomiTime has found on the code of HyperOS one sort of reference to both Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ that was not discussed before. According to this report, the global variant will feature the triple rear camera unit using 200-megapixel Samsung S5KHP3 sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor and a 2-megapixel OV02B10 sensor. And this Chinese variant holds the primary camera carrying 50-megapixel OVX8000 and the secondary telephoto lens has 50-megapixel JN1.

According to the report, the Indian variant of Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will feature the 50-megapixel telephoto camera. Just like the Chinese model, the global version of Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. It could rock the same 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The source further claims that the Redmi Note 14 Pro model going to be launched outside China will feature a 200-megapixel Samsung S5KHP3 sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel OV02B10 macro sensor. In China, it comes with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor.

Apparently, both Chinese model and Redmi Note 14 Pro will share the same MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset and 6.67-inch OLED display. Sources reveal that Redmi Note 14 Pro series carry IP69 rating.

The new Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and Redmi Note 14 Pro smartphones have been officially launched in China; the starting price of the former is set at CNY 1,899, which is approximately Rs 22,000. The former includes a 6,200mAh battery, while the latter packs a 5,500mAh battery that includes support for 45W fast charging, on top of 45W fast charging. Both the smartphones also have an IP68 rating for water and dust.
